The Communication Course ensures pilots develop strong radio telephony (RTF) skills and proficiency in VFR and IFR communication. It
covers standard phraseology, ATC procedures, emergency transmissions, and real-world flight scenarios to enhance communication clarity and confidence.
Course Overview and Duration
- There are two ATPL papers relating to communication, VFR Communications and IFR Communications. The papers are so similar that, for the purpose of the course, we consider them as one subject.
- Essential for ATPL/PPL/CPL/IR/CB-IR training.
- The subject is expected to take around 15 days to cover, including question banks.
- Duration may vary by a few days, depending on subject complexity and question bank size.
